Replaster, retile, add a spa, upgrade your equipment, or give your entire backyard a modern overhaul — all from the company that’s built over 1,700 pools since 1985.
Your pool still works. But it doesn’t excite you anymore.
The plaster is rough and stained. The tile is chipped or outdated. The coping is cracking. The equipment runs, but it’s loud, inefficient, and one summer away from dying. The deck has seen better days. The whole thing looks like it belongs in 2005.
You’ve thought about it — maybe it’s time to do something. But then the questions start. Is it worth renovating, or should you just tear it out? How much will it cost? Will it actually look like new when it’s done? Can the structure even handle a renovation?
Those are exactly the right questions. And the answers are usually better than people expect.
A well-built pool doesn’t need to be demolished. It needs a team that understands how it was constructed in the first place — and knows exactly how to bring it back to life.
What We Do.
We handle every phase of pool renovation with our own in-house crews. Whether you need a single upgrade or a full-scale overhaul, here’s what we do.
Replaster / Resurface
The pool’s surface is what you see and feel every time you swim. Over time, plaster erodes, stains, and turns rough. We remove the old surface and apply a fresh finish — standard white plaster, quartz aggregate, or pebble finishes depending on your preference and budget. A new surface changes the entire look and feel of the pool.
Timeline: Most resurfacing jobs are completed in 5–7 working days.
New Tile & Coping
Cracked waterline tile and deteriorating coping are the most visible signs of an aging pool. We remove and replace tile, coping, and often the surrounding capstone in a single scope of work. Dozens of tile and coping styles to choose from — modern, classic, natural stone, or custom patterns.
Full Renovation / Remodel
This is the complete overhaul. New surface, new tile, new coping, updated plumbing, modern equipment, LED lighting, automation controls, water features — whatever the pool needs to function like new and look even better than it did originally. We can also add features that didn’t exist when the pool was built: tanning ledges, bubblers, deck jets, spillover spas, and more.
Best for: Pools that are 15+ years old and need more than a single upgrade to bring them current.
Vinyl Liner Replacement
Faded, wrinkled, or torn liners make the pool look neglected and can lead to water loss. We measure precisely, order the liner to your pool’s exact dimensions, and install it with our own crew. Wide selection of patterns and colors.
Timeline: Liner replacements typically take 2–3 days once the liner arrives.
Equipment Upgrade
Old single-speed pumps, aging heaters, failing salt cells, outdated manual controls — pool equipment technology has improved dramatically in the last decade. We replace and upgrade to energy-efficient variable-speed pumps, modern heaters, updated filtration, salt chlorine generators, and automation systems that let you control your pool from your phone.
This saves real money. A variable-speed pump alone can cut your electricity cost by 50–70% compared to an old single-speed unit.
Why a Pool Builder — Not Just a Pool Service Company — Should Handle Your Renovation
Most pool service companies maintain pools. They clean them, balance chemicals, and swap out parts. That’s valuable work, but renovation is construction. It requires understanding the structural engineering, the plumbing layout, the shell composition, and the right materials for the job. We’ve built over 1,700 pools from the ground up. When we renovate yours, we understand what’s underneath the surface — because we’ve built what’s underneath the surface.
In-House Crews, Not a Patchwork of Subcontractors
A full renovation can involve demolition, plumbing, electrical, surface application, tile work, coping installation, equipment hookup, and decking. Many companies sub out half those trades. We handle all of them with our own employees, on our schedule, under our supervision. One company, one crew, one point of accountability.
We Stand Behind Our Work
We know one thing about customers. If you do a good job for a fair price, they will always be customers. At Aqua Fun Pools, we are now raising our third generation of family members in the family business. Teaching them how important good work and good communication is. We are not a here-today gone-tomorrow business. We are in it for the long haul.

Honest Assessment of What’s Needed
Some pools need a full renovation. Some just need a resurface and a new pump. We’ll inspect your pool, tell you what actually needs work, and present options at different investment levels. We don’t upsell work you don’t need and we don’t sugarcoat problems that need real solutions.
Renovation Costs a Fraction of New Construction
A common misconception is that renovation costs almost as much as a new pool. It doesn’t. A well-executed renovation can transform a 20-year-old pool for a fraction of new construction cost — and you’re not starting from scratch with excavation, permitting for new construction, and months of yard disruption. You already own the pool. We just make it great again.
