Take Precautions to Prevent Freeze Damage To Your Swimming Pool

Winter is here! Friendly reminder to take precautions to prevent freeze damage to your swimming pool. Make sure all valves are open so water is flowing through all plumbing and pvc – especially water features, slides, bubblers etc.

Double check that your freeze guard is activated and on.

Double check that your actuators work.

When your pool goes into freeze guard mode, actuators turn back and forth from spa mode to pool mode every fifteen minutes.  Schedule us to come out and re-lube and or replace all o-rings at your pool equipment. Whether it be in your filter, your motor, three-way valves at your plumbing, check valves, etc. O-rings are the most susceptible to freezing temperatures and tend to crack during winter.

The leaves are not done yet! Double check that your skimmers and main drains are clear of leaves so that your pool circulates correctly.
